That's right. Chris and I broke up. I think that about says it all. I won't go into the details, but I will say that it is a mutually recognized breakup (so as not to paint a "good guy/bad guy" picture).

My apologies to my blogging community for not having posted in such a long time. As you can see, things have been somewhat hectic. I have two more weeks of school and then it should be back to my regularly scheduled program. :)

Quyen, I'll adhere to your blogging breakup rules if only because I'm too busy to enter a protracted struggle against your hardcore admirers. However, I don't appreciate you using our breakup, which just happened yesterday, as your excuse for not having blogged in a while. I, or the breakup, have nothing to do with that.

wow. breaking up and making up is no good. i have been in relationships like that... when things are good, they're really, really good... but when things are bad, they're godawful.
i can't say for sure, but it didn't seem like it was the healthiest of relationships... having been in some uhm... interesting relationships, i can see some signs... regardless of whether i know you or chris "in real life"...
and it really didn't seem like you were using chris as an excuse for not having blogged... but, maybe that's just me.
chris, if you read this, i think that you should adhere to her "rules" out of respect for her and what you guys had and because you truly care about her. not because you're "too busy to enter a protracted struggle" against people who read her blog. that's fucked up, man.

also, one more thing... i have to be completely honest. i really stopped reading your stuff after you and chris got back together. it felt fake to me. like there was such an attempt to make things sound so rosy between the two of you.
and like i said, having been in some interesting relationships, i didn't like reading it...
it seemed more real when the two of you weren't really involved.

It really didn't seem to me like you were using the breakup as an excuse for not having blogged either. Maybe I can't read between lines?
Now, on to the more important issue, how long until it's 'proper' to ask someone out after they've broken up? I've been thinking of visiting California soon. :)
