*sigh*
I'm so disappointed.
I thought Americans were more enlightened than this.
This just sends shivers down my spine.

Sometimes, life is sweet. Sometimes, life is fun. Sometimes, you're just like WTF?

i agree w/ grace.
in the real world, if someone is incompetent at their job, he gets fired. in politics, they give him the same job.

I agree with Grace too. So, in a completely uncharicteristic move, that's my comment for the day. Like Quyen said, my disappointment in people has hit an all time low and no amount of words can do it justice. By the way, for those looking for some great commentary on the election, check out Mike's blog. I'd like to also take this moment to agree with others in saying that I'm weary of discussing or debating the points of the election or the lack of qualifications of our "commander in chief," who couldn't even fulfill his national guard obligations while skipping out on the Vietnam War.
Hey Quyen, noticed there aren't too many comments on this blog. Guess everyone else must be a Republican, eh?

Chris, the reason there aren't too many comments is because everyone is sick of it by now. Plus, the swollen eyes from crying.

> I think all of the Canadians were rooting for Kerry.
I think pretty much the entire western world was rooting for Kerry. Here in New Zealand everyone talking politics automatically assumes that everyone wanted Bush out. I've considered saying "actually, I'm glad Bush won" just to see the stunned silence. Oh, but I'm not glad he won.
Sympathy,
Fran

"A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt......If the game runs sometimes against us at home we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake."
Thomas Jefferson, 1798, after the passage of the Sedition Act
